The passes
Ikon Pass Buy
Solitude unlimited; 7 days each at Brighton, Snowbasin and Deer Valley (lift reservations required); 7 days shared between Alta and Snowbird. Free UTA ski bus rides. Ikon Base blackouts: Dec 26–30, Jan 16–17, Feb 13–14. Prices last reported at $1,449 (Ikon) and $1,019 (Base) before the Oct 8 deadline; check ikonpass.com for today’s price.
Epic Pass Buy
Park City Mountain only in Utah, unlimited. Epic Local blackouts at Park City: Nov 27–28, Dec 26–31, Jan 16, Feb 13–14. Last reported at $1,119 (Epic) and $829 (Epic Local) after the September price rise.
Mountain Collective Buy
2 days each at Alta, Snowbird and Snowbasin, no blackouts, then 50% off extra days. $729 adult; the price goes up Nov 17.
Alta-Bird Buy
Unlimited Alta and Snowbird, no blackouts. $3,448 adult, $2,350 ages 18–25. Holders can add a full Ikon Pass for $859 or Ikon Base for $359, bought by Dec 10.
Salt Lake Ski Super Pass Buy
Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude, 3–10 days within 14 days, no blackouts, free ski bus and TRAX. 2026–27 adult: $570 (3 days), $760 (4), $930 (5), $1,120 (6), $1,270 (7), $1,450 (8), $1,640 (9), $1,820 (10); kids 12 and under from $290. Plus tax. Sold until Apr 15, 2027.
Ski Utah Passport Register
For any 4th, 5th or 6th grader: 3 days at each of 14 Utah resorts. $79 until Nov 30, then $99.
Power Pass Buy
Unlimited at Brian Head and Nordic Valley; Power Pass and Power Pass Select holders also get 3 free days at Sundance. $1,149 adult (Select $799); prices go up Nov 6. Kids 12 and under get a free Power Kids Pass.
Indy Pass Join the Indy waitlist
2 days each at Cherry Peak and Beaver Mountain (Indy Base blacked out at Beaver on weekends and holidays). Sold out for 2026–27; Indy keeps a waitlist.
Common questions
Is the Ikon or Epic Pass better for Utah?
Ikon covers far more of Utah: Solitude unlimited, plus Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Snowbasin and Deer Valley. Epic covers only Park City Mountain, which is huge and unlimited on Epic. Choose based on the resorts you plan to ski.
Does the Ikon Base Pass work at Alta?
No. Ikon Base covers Solitude (unlimited), Brighton and Snowbird (5 days each, with blackouts). Alta, Snowbasin and Deer Valley need the full Ikon Pass.
What is the Salt Lake Ski Super Pass?
A multi-day lift ticket sold by Visit Salt Lake, valid at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird and Solitude. 3 to 10 days, used within 14 days of the first. 2026–27 adult prices start at $570 for 3 days. It includes free UTA ski bus and TRAX rides on ski days.
Does the Indy Pass work in Utah this season?
Yes, at Cherry Peak (new for 2026–27, no blackouts) and Beaver Mountain (Indy Base blacked out on weekends and holidays). Eagle Point is closed this season. The 2026–27 Indy Pass is sold out; Indy runs a waitlist in case it goes back on sale.
