About SKI SLC

SKI SLC is an independent guide to skiing near Salt Lake City.

Independence

SKI SLC isn’t run by a resort, a pass company or a tourism board. Nobody pays to be listed or described more favorably.

How it’s funded

Right now, nothing on this site earns money. If we add affiliate links or sponsored listings (for example, a rental car or lodging booking link), we’ll label them clearly where they appear. Deals in the “Deals and dates” section are there because they’re useful.

Where the information comes from

Resort pages, UDOT, UTA, the pass companies and the operators themselves, checked 28 Oct 2026. Live snow data comes from the NRCS SNOTEL network and forecasts and alerts from the National Weather Service. Resort statistics (acres, snowfall) are the resorts’ own claims.

Safety

Road status, avalanche conditions and parking rules can change within minutes. Use this site to plan. Confirm with UDOT, the Utah Avalanche Center and the resort before you go.
